Now What?

Do you ever wonder what else could possibly happen?
Fear sets in...you still have so many years left to live and you've already had so many bad things happen in your life. Sometimes you feel life is too hard. And it's hard to keep your focus on the promises of God and it's hard to always believe them. You can quote scriptures to your friend who is going through a bad time but until you live that experience you never know how hard it is to choose to believe that scripture when it doesn't match up with your circumstances. You have to choose to believe even when you don't feel like it. Eventually that promise you are choosing to believe becomes a part of you and you start to live it out. I had to chose to believe in the promise of being healed even though my body had cancer. I had to chose to believe in the promise of hope when my dad took his own life. And I have to choose to believe that God has good plans for the rest of my life even though my husband abandoned me. One thing I know is that God has become more a part of me after every journey. I know that God really does take the bad and turn it into something good...something very good if we choose to believe it.

You have fought against the "negitive reports" in your life and kept on living, in spite of it all.

Keep trading in those "ashes" and He will keep making them something beatiful in you.

I love you!

OH So true Teena, but it is the very fact that we can trust and hold on to those promises that not only gets us through, but makes us more than victorious.
I loved your analogy of feeling like a grain of sand in an hour glass...that pretty much sums it up doesn't it? It's good to know that there really is a wide open space coming where you can breathe again.

"You've come a long way baby!!!!"
Keep moving forward in Him...one foot in front of the other

I have always been quite amazed at how much strength you carry during some very very difficult times. God obviously has you in the palm of his hand. You are a woman of courage and valor and a true inspiration.
God bless you!!!

Thanks Teena for sharing this. Yes, believing and trusting when we can't see what lies ahead or when the circumstances aren't changing is challenging. Sometimes I remind myself of the 'suddenlies' I see in peoples' lives and know that, despite what I 'see', God is at work...in His way and in His perfect timing.
